Columbus Civic Center Events 2023 – COLUMBUS, GA () — After a two-year hiatus, it’s back! Davis Broadcasting Columbus will host its annual Children’s Christmas Party on Sunday, Dec. 18 at the Columbus Civic Center, according to a release from Davis Broadcasting. Every child 12 and under gets a free toy and a McDonald’s coupon while supplies last. There will be a raffle to give kids a chance to win a bike.
Doors open at 2 p.m., party starts at 2:30 p.m. Although this event is free and open to the public, it is for children 12 and under who need a Christmas gift. Each child must be accompanied by an adult.

Davis Broadcasting Corporation publicity director Karen Robinson said Santa will be there to pose for photos with children who will receive bicycles and other toys. In addition, he said, there will be music and performances.

“This event is one of our favorites,” he said. “Supported by donations from the Tri-Cities community, every child who attends our annual Children’s Christmas Party leaves with a bike or toy to place under the tree and a gift card for a McDonald’s meal.”
Funds raised by the Davis Broadcasting 24 Hour Radiothon were used to purchase bicycles and toys for the event. Sponsors for this year’s event include CareSource, Miller-Motte College, McDonald’s and Peach State Health Plan.
